ABOUT ME
Utkarsh Rampal here — I like startups, hard problems, and the messy process of turning ideas into reality
Things I am doing
By daylight (and sometimes way past midnight) I’m building Voxis — my attempt to give small businesses an AI-powered CFO that never sleeps, never complains, and probably drinks less coffee than me.
In my “student life DLC,” I’m studying engineering while also trying to sneak into the worlds of cybersecurity and machine learning. Basically, I’m training to become the kind of person who can both build the system and then hack into it “just for fun.”
I’ve dabbled with more side quests than I can count: from designing scrappy startup ideas that may or may not belong in a hackathon, to obsessing over whether my ML models are learning or just politely pretending.
When I’m not debugging code or overthinking business models, I’m usually either lifting weights, reading books like CEOs do (one eye on the text, the other on future billions), or trying to convince my friends that “yes, AI can also recommend the best barrito bowls in town.”
My real alignment problem: making sure Voxis aligns with both market demand and the three hours of sleep I get before class.
